Douglas Dare from West Dorset has emerged with a haunting sound of acoustic, piano based indie. Inspired by the solo projects of Jack Steadman (Bombay Bicycle Club), Daniel Rossen (Grizzly Bear) and Thom Yorke, Douglas combines intimate arrangements with a voice and lyric of a true storyteller.









Local singer/songwriter PJ Harvey has won the 2011 Mercury prize with her fantastic album "Let England Shake" This is the second time she (or anyone else for that matter) has won this prestigious music industry award. The last time PJ Harvey won the Mercury Prize, the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks stopped her from flying from the US to London to accept the award.
It is with great pleasure that the Skimmity Hitchers announce the release of their debut album “Game, Sett & Natch”.
