Where there’s Smoke?
Whenever you went into a pub
Be it day or be it night
There was usually a haze of fog
Through which you had to fight.
Your clothes they got all smelly
As like-wise did your hair
And this was even if you didn’t smoke
It really wasn’t fair.
There were always mucky ash trays
Or butts all on the floor
But now the smoking ban has come in
You won’t get that anymore.
It means that all those smokers
Now have to go outside
And have their fix in a special place
Or they find somewhere to hide!
I know it spoils an evening
If you’re all gone out together
When the smoker has to dash outside
No matter what the weather!
So come on all you smokers
It’s the perfect time to say
That you’re going to kick the habit
And give up smoking right away!
