Those Mobile Phones…

In this mad new techno age
What near gets you in a rage?
Having to listen to some – one having a moan
Talking so loudly on their mobile phone!
Do they not realise we all can hear
How hubby was out all night on the beer.
Do we wish to know that poor Gran is ill
Or that her sister’s daughter is on the pill!
It seems the puppy is chewing and the cat’s been sick
I wish she’d end this chat real quick.
Oh now she’s off down memory lane
It really can drive you quite insane.
If they didn’t shout it would be so much better
Or why not send a nice quite letter!
