As part of this year’s late night shopping event the Electric Palace on Wednesday, 12 December 2007 we would like to invite everyone to come into the warm and dry, have some mulled cider or wine and some of Gideon Hitchin’s lovely food, enjoy the free entertainment and bag a load of locally produced presents. The event runs from 6.30-11pm, stalls include:
Greetings cards Sheepskins Artwork Herbie Treehead’s Magic Stall Adrian Gray’s Stone Balancing Balinese clothing, hammocks, bags, mirrors and carved skulls Silver jewellery Blacksmithery Wood turning – demonstration and sales Flamenco dresses & aprons Giant Wooden Toadstools Unusual jewellery/ body piercing jewellery Local Artist Cards Ceramics Curiosities and bric-a-brac Christmas wreaths/decorations
Food: Seasonal snacks – roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, smoked salmon, turkey wraps, etc. by Gideon Hitchin of the electric palace brasserie. Washed down with mulled cider and wine:
Entertainment: Locally made short films, Seasonal VJ set, Live woodturning demonstration, Stone balancing Herbie’s magic stall, Grand piano and trumpet, choir with fiddle and accordion, a harpist and hopefully a wind up gramophone 78 DJ set !
