Dorset Dance students perform curtain raiser

Influx Dance Company perform Arrival, a triple bill of new work by Joanne Willmott, Bawren Tavaziva and Yael Flexer at Bridport Arts Centre on Thursday 18 October. 

The dance evening opens with a curtain raiser by students from Thomas Hardye School, Dorchester.

Bridport Arts Centre marketing manager, Tamsin Loudon said, “If you haven’t seen contemporary dance before, then this performance is a good introduction.  Visually it’s great and you can appreciate the emotions that the dancers are portraying.”

Somerset-based Joanne Willmott has recently been on a mentorship with the iconic figure in contemporary dance, Siobhan Davies.
