Dorset Men and Their Sheds, move over Tommy Walsh. Two local men are causing a real stir in the world of DIY with their first video on Utube entitled “How to build an oil drum BBQ”, although a little late in the season for grilled outdoor cuisine the project video has attracted attention from all parts of the globe including Alaska and Brazil in the South !! Mark Botwright and Dennis Spacey were commissioned to build two BBQ’s for a local bigwig and had the idea of filming the build for the greater good.
We asked Dennis what made them film it?
“Everybody wants to be a celeb these days and we are no different, neither of us can sing so that ruled out pop idol, I didn’t fancy living in Elstree for 10 weeks so that ruled out Big Brother, I like DIY, it made sense”
Excellent stuff - you are not a real man until you own a shed. I need help building a land yacht (like a sand yacht but more off road hard core mayhem) how about it Mark and Dennis?

men and sheds good idea, have friend whose wife banned shed idea, not sure of outcome. Liked story of man who collected rubber bands until the ball was a high as him, and he dropped it from plane in Nevada dessert .. some bouncing to be seen. Twas a man in Coneygar who had a shed and made candles, wife had sauna next to shed.. candles good stuff remember him?

Draino(3) just checked out Marks shed in Bridders it's a blooming palace, I want one! My 6X4 just doesn't cut it, i'm so jealous.
I am now suffering from serious shed envy - have just rung log cabin builder and am planning my rugged future, thanks for the inspiration.

Sheds are fab. I have just completed two superb sheds in france ( i could bore you for hours with the spec and the photos) and to be honest I can't see the point of a house when you can build a lovely insulated wooden shed. I am tempted to knock my old ruin down over there and replace it with a network of inter-connected sheds.
