The junction at Miles Cross has already claimed several lives, so the Highways Agency along with the local council has drawn up plans to increase safety there. A spokesman said "We have looked into the feasability of using the unemployed to test these new features".
Proposed safety measures A local resident comments... "I think that one of those planes the yanks use that rain bullets of depleted uranium circulating during peak times would be good. That way they can alternate between the junction, the right turn to Eype and idiots who think that +60mph is a fair speed to approach and cross the Crown roundabout. On Saturday and Wednesday the plane could be also additionally assigned to target the market traders that park white vans in disabled bays, traffic light filter lanes and other places that tick me off, such as car parks maybe".
