Worrying of livestock on agricultural land

An incident of livestock worrying was reported recently, we would ask all dog owners to maintain control of their pets, whilst exercising them on or near to rural farmland, including footpaths and bridleways that cross grazing or agricultural land.  We suggest avoiding farmland at this time of year, or using a tight lead when appropriate, as young livestock are especially vulnerable during this time of year.

The Police can seize any dog thought to be worrying livestock, and may in some
cases prosecute the owner or person in charge.  It is worth being aware of the rights
of the farmer or owner of the livestock, who may take reasonable steps to protect
their animals, including the use of lawfully owned firearms if necessary.

Over the last 7 days 11 arrests were made:

2x Theft/ attempt theft
1x Obstruction to police
1x Assault actual bodily harm
2x Common assault
1x Possession of class ‘A’ controlled drugs
1x Sexual assault
1x Putting another in fear of violence [public disorder]
1x Warrant for failing to appear in court
1x Being drunk and incapable

If you have any information regarding the above offences or any other crimes, then please come forward and help us with our enquiries:  it may be your evidence, which successfully secures a conviction.  Instead of accepting that crime is part of the Bridport society, let’s give the courts the facts and allow them to decide.
Contact the police station direct, or speak to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 – all calls will be treated in confidence

ImageSuspicious toilet fire

A FIRE in a temporary toilet in Bridport is believed to be deliberate.
Two retained fire crews from Bridport put out the blazing convenience on St Andrews Trading Estate. The wall of the nearby Bridport and West Dorset Indoor Bowls Club suffered heat damage. A Dorset Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Toilets don't catch alight by themselves do they."

That was your mother I was with Tuzo and she ""cleaned"" me out. A tenner for what I had was a crime.

Tuzo, either you were out and about at 1am on a Thursday morning or you have just given away where you live. Judging by the way you write, I know exactly who you are! It all adds up. Ha HAA! Even the Lead Belly link adds up. Actually, I now feel slightly bad about having ripped the bejesus out of you.... and now I'm over it. I'm just trying to work out a way of confirming my guess without giving any hints away to anyone else...Hmmmm.... Am I close?

Carlito are you suggesting that Tuzo lives in the gents lavatory? What is your obsession with trying to guess who is who on this website.
