Due to inclement weather, the Friends of Bridport Millennium Green May Fair had to be postponed and has been replaced by a sale of various items in a Bric-a-Brac stall, 'green' items, and more than that, Dorset Cream Teas will be served. They will also be selling "Bridport Millennium Green" MikkiMugs and breakfast trays.
It's 2.00pm until 5.00pm in The Salt House at West Bay. Sunday 8th July.
Funds will go to the upkeep of the "Millennium Green" and its raised flower beds at Mountfield.
Anyone can check out the new Millennium Green website - this also gives a map as to where to find the Green and raised beds. There must be a lot of people that don't know it exists?
 
It will be greatly appreciated, I'm sure, by those "Friends of Bridport Millennium Green" that are trying to keep an area in the centre of town for various (outside) events, for which there is no charge, but a donation toward funds is welcome.
