 Despite the wet and miserable weather this weekend the 2007 Bridport Food Festival at Asker Meadows drew large crowds tempted by delicious delicacies from around the region and a tent full of beer and cider. There were also cookery demonstrations and displays. This reporter came home with a Round Table half pint mug (empty) lots of free samples (eaten), Two crab cakes from Moonfleet Hotels stand, a bottle of Bridge Farm cider and a small graze from slipping over in the mud.
