The new medical centre in West Allington has been handed over to the NHS and is opening on Tuesday 29th May 2007. The old medical centre is being bulldozed and the footprint used to construct houses the size of shoeboxes.

BridportRadio MD Doctor Malicious, will not be moving anywhere and can still be found here...

As a resident of North Allington I look forward to being able to Drive/Cycle/Walk past the Old Medical Centre without fear of A Prang/Knocked Off My Bike/Flattened On The Pavement. I like small houses too.

Dear Denzlepob - that's what gets pranged. Examining my bits because I thought I was a Laydee.

If I were not ill when leaving home in Meadfields, I certainly would be knackered by the time I walked to the new health centre. I suppose it will deter timewasters as you will need to think hard before setting off to the doctors. If the old copshop became "" Peelers court"" what will the houses on the old health centre be named? Perhaps a naming competition can be arranged

Good idea Mr Planet, what will they call this new development? Methadone Acres / Penicillin Avenue ..?

Posted by Carlito, on 29-05-2007 14:30,
It'll be a cul-de-sac called ""Uncomfortably Close"".

what about ""Notting Hill Gate"" and the new one could be called ""Sandringham"" (and what an uninspirational bulding) should keep the main users of the building happy! anyone seen the modernist building in Rax Lane? Thumbs up from me.

Did anyone else witness the two (it has to be said, LARGE) denizens of Bridders racing eachother in their personalised PMV's on the South Street Pavement yesterday..... they were whizzin along two abreast at times...doin wheelies and revving them engines like they were on Top Gear... I saw at least one oldun come a cropper and fall head first into Malibar trading... I felt it was safer walking in the road for th rest of th afternoon....

Am I the only person that think that Leakers (East St Bridport) use the same mix for all the breads, buns, pastries etc? I think the only reason there is a queue is because it takes so long to winch the bread into wheelbarrows. having said that none of the others are any better!

Hi BAT - knowing that this is slightly off-topic, I note from one of your earlier posts on a thread on this site that you actually have children! This has obliterated the image that I had of you squinting through thick-rimmed spectacles, polishing weaponry in your parents basement. It does, however raise questions about your very strong anti-druggie attitude. You do know that your children a more likely to grow up and experiment with drugs if you over-demonise the subject?!

A bit Australian but; Uppshit Creek.

i am so flattered that you noticed my absence(SS) and am giving your remarks some thought, and will get back to you. as for the END OF THREAD comment that keeps coming up.......why DOES it keep coming up?

Carlito - My children are be raised under the protective umbrella of 'The Sniper's Code'. This involves intense daily meditation and a diet of cold water and brown rice until they reach adulthood.
