There is a feast of sizzling summer entertainment coming up at Bridport Arts Centre. The new summer brochure has just been released and tickets are now on sale from Saturday, April 21, for most events up until August.
Director Chris Huxley said, “We have a great summer programme ahead of us including Steve Knightley, Subitango the UK’s leading tango dancers, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Ballet Central and Trish Wylie’s exhibition of Western paintings. We’re also showing films including Venus and Notes on a Scandal. I’m particularly looking forward to Forkbeard Fantasy because they are simply brilliant.”
Bridport Arts Centre also has lots on for children and families this season. During the June half term, The Rainbow Fish is a deep-sea adventure about the most beautiful fish in the ocean. The show is ideal for children aged 4 and above. During August, The Lost Forest is a fun show with colourful rod puppets and original music. Both of these shows have workshops where children can get more involved.
