TRAVEL TAX E-mail

ImageMotorists should be asked to pay to drive on the nation's road network, a report commissioned by the government has recommended. This from the people spending as little money as possible on roads, and deliberately creating congestion by means of road narrowing, bus lanes, and closing off side roads.

How will work?
You will have to purchase a tracking device for your car and pay a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC , the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month. On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit, in time you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly bill.

If you care about our freedom and stopping the constant bashing of the car driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website and tell as many people as possible.

Not at all, I had to rush off and get the quote I forgot to use earlier when having my rant. Even though the quote could be found in my study I thought it best to drive there which meant laying down some extra tarmac in the house and from the garage to the house. It is good to have more roads as that means I can drive even slowly on them and hold more people up. On a more poigniant point I wanted to say to that we would do well to remember that people do not go into politics for the good of the general population anymore. Politics is just show business for ugly people. I really must rush now as I have to drive over to beaminster and only have one hour for the journey, I should just make it with 5 minutes to spare

BUT if motorists (and I am one) drove in a sensible manner you wouldn't need ""road narrowing"", ""bus lanes"" and the like. Why in a town the size of Bridport people still drive their kids to school is beyond me! Probably the same people who drive into town on a saturday morn at 11am and complain there is not enough parking.

I see the self appointed and world renowned music star Billy Bragg alot, cleared up Burton Bradstock himself.Oh with a little outside help !! As mentioned above,no one seems to hear the boats owners digging into their profits to fund the oil spillage which is still killing wildlife on a daily routine. I heard a rumour today that the containers may be brought to West Bay,in order to get them onto transporter's and back to their owners. If this is true i do hope that all of you will hand back any stray BMW's,Plasma Telly's or quad bikes, should they get misslayed on their way !!

Don't need 'penis envy' when I have Ann Summers! As 'the peace protester' is upset about Tony Blair invading Iraq, would it be possible to ammend his sign to protest about Mr Blairs' minions 'invading' our homes to record any improvments(£500 fine if refused entry)so that we can be charged extra Council Tax.If you are criminal then a search warrant is required.Where are our 'human rights' when we need them.

Carlito,im surprised you had time for pancake's after all that dribble youve just wrote. No offence !! My view is that it will be great to come back from the pub and have my clothes not smell like your ashtray. At least me and Chesilbank will be able to have a healthy conversation over a pint, whilst you and the desolved lung club huddle in the dog turd garden blowing smoke signals.(I hope just smoke signals anyway !!) Must say it will be interesting to see where somewhere like the Tiger Inn is going to create a newly built, plush, outdoor heated, interestingly decorated, custom-made ""smoking garden !! I put smokers as more dangerous than say a smack head in the confines of a pub.Whilst the druggie is shooting domestos or whatever into his/her arms, they are not affecting my direct health as such. But if you sit next to me with say a 10 cigs an hour habit,im just as likely as you to end up in an early grave, and thats not on. I want to go out in a blaze of glory, not a blazing inferno !! Right, who's next ...
