While browsing the BBC web site t'other day I came upon these articles sent in by Bridport Museum they are a facinating read about World War Two memories written by locals.
In 2005 Bridport Heritage Forum organised a series of events to commemorate the end of WW2. A book was produced which is composed of the war time memories of local people, historians and others now residing in the Bridport area. It is on sale at the Local History Centre in Gundry Lane priced £4.99
