PVA MediaLab has commissioned Composer Andrew Lovett to devise a new audio work entitled 'Silicon Coast'. Andrew will be in residence at the studio from November 25th for one week and we are looking for creative people with something to say or expertise to offer regarding living and working close to the Heritage Coast.

Andrew would like to talk with people who have specialist interest or knowledge about the geology, history or geography of the area or those who simply enjoy living in or visiting the locality. The recordings will be incorporated into a musical composition which will be available as a CD recording and to download from http://www.pva.org.uk/ in December.

Andrew commented: "Composing a piece that encompasses over a hundred and eighty-five million years of geological history is daunting. I plan to use a mixture of sounds recorded on location and the voices of people who live nearby. These sounds will be mixed together to create a layered montage that gives a impression of this natural wonder."

PVA would like to hear from individuals and groups who would be willing to assist Andrew Lovett in the week beginning November 25th.
