On Saturday 14th of October at Symene sports pavillion, Symondsbury from 2.00 to 5.00pm. There will be apple displays and identification, craft workshops, story telling, music, stalls, games, freshly pressed apple juice and of course there will be cider.
Stall holders: Ashe Farm - Gifts from the beehive. Castles - Cider and honey. Wendy Lees - Herbs Five Penny Farm - Organic produce. Allington Hill - Apple Juice. West Milton - Cider club. Guy Furner - Hurdles and chairs. Tumbling Woods - Tree folklore gifts. Apple Joy - Toffee apple treats. Treewise Co-op - Green play. Come along, there's fun for all the family. The 21st of October is National Apple Day a celebration instigated by Common Ground in 1990 to raise awareness of the plight of Englands orchards and to celebrate and declare their unique and precious contribution to our culture, landscape, rural economy and psyche.
