THE BAT REVEALED

Regular readers of Bridport Radio will be familiar with the nature of our member The Bats comments. For those of you who do not know the main gist of it is that there are many problems in this lovely town of ours, namely badly parked white vans, seagulls and skagheads to name but a few that could be remedied by the simple act of putting a sniper on the town hall roof (presumably paid for out of our council tax) to pick them off. Well, we have been sent this picture that purports to be The Bat doing what he loves best . BridportRadio says "Keep up the good work".

Bridport Radio member Scoop Doogy Style made this likeness of The Bat in Greece, this sandman will definately put you to sleep.

Errr,, I think the Great Malenko was a magician (you know the rabbit out of the hat type) who appeared briefly on the Blackpool circuit for three weeks before getting a full time job at McDonald's.

...and he doesn't seem to have picked off that begging smackhead that sits on the corner of Buck Doo lane, perhaps he can't get the right angle with his rifle, bugger the rifle - just drop a brick on his head.

keep up the good work ,maybe the bat needs a number 2, to correct his fall of shot at extreme range or when the scagheads run. we should have a whip round to pay for his ammo, plus reasonable expenses.

Not a bad idea at all bogbeast. An assistant with a handgun would be very helpful to get into all those 'hard to snipe' places, such as buses and cafes. I could provide the general overall sniping service and my number two could mop up on the ground and/or finish off any 'snipees' who were the recipient of a 'messy shot' (not that this has happened yet). What we need is a motto. I would welcome any suggestions for a sniper moto from Bridport Radio Members. May I tentatively start the ball roling by submitting the following suggested moto: 'Those Who Snipe Also Serve' or maybe even: 'Snipe Them All, Let God Sort Them Out'.

If you have a van you can also double park outside any shop in town claiming to be 'On a delivery',whilst you nip into a bakery/shop to get your dinner. Don't forget to open your drivers door just as one of the half mile cue behind you try to get past !!

Now that the Traffic Enforcement Officers (Parking Wardens)wear fluorescent jackets, they should be easier for The Bat to spot !!

...... and what about those taxi drivers in west street. It's all very well them having parking space, but do they have to stand and chat in the middle of the road space thats left? Get out the way! Watch for the sniper.

What the two speed freaks are trying to do is make us all go faster in a world that needs to be going slower. The thing about moderate drivers is that while they drive along, enjoying all things rural, the one thing they need not fear is other moderate road users. What they have to fear are the speed obsessed, macho, must get there quickly, yah boo to you, types that Ivorbiggun and Chesilbank endorse. Take it easy boys, relax and enjoy the beauty that is ours without frothing at the mouth everytime you get behind the wheel of a vehicle. We all only have so long alive so why waste it driving fast. It begs the question ""where do you want to be so badly other than behind me""?
