On Saturday, September 30, there is an opportunity to catch a new play called The Rain has Voices at Bridport Arts Centre. A new theatre company Flax 303 from South Somerset performs the drama, which is set in this part of the country.
The Rain has Voices is about family, memory and new beginnings. A major flood threatens a village and as the water rises the land releases memories. Arts Centre marketing manager Tamsin Loudon said "This new theatre company are coming to Bridport as part of their regional tour. The commissioning of the play is part of a Theatre Somerset initiative led by Take Art in partnership with the Strode and Brewhouse theatres."
