 Local boy Toby Burnham (now living in Lun-dun) has stupidly agreed to join ex-England Rugby Captain Lawrence Dallaglio’s “Cycle Slam” project, raising money for both Sport Relief, and the Lawrence Dallaglio Foundation, which gives money to Help for Heroes, and Cancer Research amongst others.
The challenge is to cycle from Rome to Nice (a shade under 500 miles) in 5 days. 100 miles a day is not easy. 5 days in a row will be awful. Especially for a fat townie, altho’ surely even the Alps in February can’t beat Eggardon, or Gypsy Lane. So please help Toby up those hills by sponsoring him as much as you can for such good causes.
