Love Bridport Campaign E-mail

ImageBridport Radio is working alongside the Bridport Chamber of Commerce on the "Love Bridport" campaign which aims to encourage more people to use local businesses and tradesmen. Matt Beard who runs Cafe Bean in South Street is the campaign organiser, he says "Bridport is a vibrant and unique town and we want to get the message out there."  We hope this campaign will spread across the nation because our economy could do with some stimulation. Please use local businesses.

Supporting Bridport Businesses

We have come up with logos and merchandise to help promote local businesses and firms in the area. (which can be personalised with companies own names on them) These logos can be used on all advertising, letter heads, internet sites, stickers - where ever you like.Available from Print n Press.

Be a part of the "Love Bridport" Campaign

You can help - please make the effort to use local businesses where ever possible, as they say "use it or lose it" and I know you don't want the town populated by charity shops and qwickie marts.

Maybe it is cheaper to shop in Morrisons but that's because the quality is abysmal - a punnet of peaches bought from that establishment was, for four days inedible and unripe and on the fifth day - mouldy, (there may have been a 5 minute window at midnight on the 4th day when they were okay but I did not check them at that precise moment). The next week I bought some at Bridgets Market that were so succulent when I bit into them the juice dribbled down my arm and off my elbow.

I heartily agree with Drain0 re the food, local produce is by far the best.
