 Did you know that the world's only "virtual" hospice is organised from Bridport? The Hospice of the Heart was set up a year ago by Felicity Warner. It's aims are to provide hard- to -access information, to re-vision, de-medicalise and enhance all aspects of death and dying and to raise awareness for increased compassionate care and holistic palliative care.
This sounds like a bit of a mouthful.. but simply we are trying to help people achieve better deaths and to disolve some of the scary taboos around the subject. We run lots of courses... we help train people who are interested in working in this field and we also give talks and help anyone who needs to know more.
