SUMMARY

Thefts from industrial locations

ImageThere has been a noticeable increase in reports of suspicious activity in the vicinity of isolated industrial premises around the area. This has culminated in a two breaks into property in the Pymore area of town. I ask that any suspicious movements of individuals or vehicles be reported to us.
As with all suspicious incidents information regarding vehicle registration is noted if applicable, type of car and description and number of any occupants is extremely important as well as direction of travel.

Car Fires

Previously reported was the increase in car fires which has recently plagued the area, this again has reared it’s ugly head. Overnight April 21st a 4x4 Isuzu Trooper was stolen and then discovered burnt out in the area. I ask again for extra vigilance, as there is a significant risk of injury and for collateral damage to adjacent property. Please report any suspicious activity to help stamp out this crime.

If you have any information regarding the above offences or any other crimes, then please come forward and help us with our enquiries:  it may be your evidence, which successfully secures a conviction.  Instead of accepting that crime is part of the Bridport society, let’s give the courts the facts and allow them to decide.

Contact the police station direct, or speak to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 – all calls will be treated in confidence.
