The fifth Endorse-it in-Dorset music festival will take place near the village of Sixpenny Handley on 8th-10th August, 2008. This is probably the best festival in Dorset, small enough to be friendly, with great family facilities and big enough to bring in the top bands to make it a wild time. They've a great line up this year with The Alabama 3, The Beat, The Buzzcocks and Dreadzone headlining a long list of talented entertainers.
The two lucky winners of our competition to win tickets tothe Endorse-It festival are Rosie Jones and John Collingwood who correctly answered the question “What is the name of the guitar based session, where punters can get up and have a go on stage with the backing of a live band?” the answer is The Axe Factor.
New quality, Old School
Then there’s the atmosphere… First commented on by members of Zion Train at an earlier Endorse-it and reported in the national music/festival press and message boards across the internet. Its “old school” without the chaos, relaxed without the disorganisation, quality without the expense. The entertainment appeals to all ages, families and hardened festival goers. There is a late music licence ensuring the party can carry on as long as people are up for it, managing to be secluded enough that you feel part of something special (the “I was there” factor). You are as likely to find yourself enjoying a band standing with the likes of The Mad Professor or The Beat, as you are to be standing next to a punter or one of the festival organisers. It’s a big family party and we’re all invited!! – see www.lgofestivals.com for ticket and line-up details.

There is always a big Bridport contingent going, our very own Bentley will be compering in the comedy tent. So tell your boss you are off on the weekend of 8th - 10th of August, better take the Monday off too, (to recover) and buy your tickets now. See you there!
