John Johnston has accepted a challenge to run the London Marathon on 13th April 2008. He said to Bridport Radio "I am 57 years old and have not worn a pair of running shoes in 15 years. By way of motivation I am raising funds for a local charity THE WESSEX AUTISTIC SOCIETY who have centres in Beaminster, Broadwindsor and Crewkerne. Please help me to help them. My goal is to raise £3000.00 and to finish the run in the same day or at least beat the bloke in the diving suit!"
