I tried to find the Dissertation I wrote with the recording as well (which took me a few months) that highlighted the unique points but I am still searching. All I can remember is they use ALOT of elision 'wonnum, donnum, annum...' They also use the 'rhotic R' which is the proper name for the lengthened Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound. The last point is from the old english verb 'to be' which was called 'béon'. Back then it was a regular verb e.g. ""I be, you be, they be"" and the Dorset dialect (for simplicity) maintained the regular form which is why we say ""I be"" (us Dorset folk ain't 'alf cleverrrrrrr)

Can you get them to give a review of the weeks local news with help from the wip wop? I'm sure it would be a delight for Dorset folk young and old..
