We have been trading as fishmongers in Bridport for more than 35 years, our main product is fresh fish, not only do we stock a large selection of fresh fish but we also make our own Salmon and scallop pie with sherry and mushroom sauce, Smoked salmon terrine, Smoked mackerel pate, Smoked salmon pate, Spicy crab soup, Tuna chowder and Fish cakes. The Firm of C.W. Groves and Son was founded in 1866 by the great, great grandfather of the present owner of the firm Clive Watt Groves in the village of Piddletrenthide near Dorchester, Dorset. Its main concern was growing plants for seed distribution.
