 Horst is back! For many of the Bridport folks Horst is well known as the martial arts instructor who brought the German Anti-Terrorkampf system 1995 to Bridport. Now 15 years later he has packed in his job as an international surveyor working on ships and cargo and has come back to live in Bridport to teach martial arts. Horst is not only 2nd black belt in Anti-Terrorkampf and 1st black belt in Jiu-Jitsu but is holder of another two Dan degrees from the WCA in Atemi Combat System (ACS). |

 West Dorset Fencing Club's first championships. It was quite a coup for Shirley Parker, founder of the WDFC less than a year ago, when she persuaded Allan Jay MBE, six times world champion finalist, holder of two Olympic silver medals and Vice-President of the British Fencing Association, to become Honorary President of the Club. Allan kindly donated two championship trophies and was present at Sir John Colfox School, Bridport on Thursday 12th November to present them to the winners. |
