Bridport Football Club

The Bees have had a bit of bad luck recently - some toe-rags broke into the Beehive and stole the P.A.system -so no half-time announcements etc for a while, then the floodlights packed up. But on the pitch,things are beginning to improve. Manager Royston Davies has put together a decent young side made up from local players - and the future looks good. The standard of football is improving - so why don't we have a few more locals down at St Mary's to support The Bees? Forget Premiership prices - at £4.00 to get in - it's a snip.

20/11/07 Pymore FC has recently enjoyed a change of fortunes with a 10-1 victory against Hinton St George, a 0-0 draw against rivals Netherbury and they also managed to beat league leaders (at the time) Beaminster 3-2 at Beaminsters ground on Saturday. Match report at following link:

A choice of excellent leisure facilities at Highlands End Holiday park in Eype just outside Bridport.

It is situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is a natural cliff-top course with stunning views over Lyme Bay, Chesil Beach and the Dorset Countryside. The course measures 5,875 yards, par 70 from the visitors' tees and 6,213 yards, par 71 from the competition tees.
