CHILDRENS ART & DANCE E-mail
Young at Art sessions start 3.00-315 until 4.45/5pm most mondays, for anyone over 8 years old. We experiment with techniques and make sculpture, collage,paintings, etc. £2.50 per hour. Held at St Micheals Studios, St. Micheal's Trading Estate, Bridport.

Creative Dance for Children aged 4-10 yrs, most tuesdays; 3.30-4.30 pm AT St. Mary's Church Hall, South Street, Bridport.
We move imaginatively to a variety of styles of music and play games. Come along £2.50 per session in holidays or half-termly.

The market opens to buyers Every Thursday at 10am and closes around 3.30p.m. Pitches and stalls are situated in and around the hotel and grounds. (inside if bad weather).

BRIDPORT PRIZE 08 E-mail

ImageThe Bridport Prize is an annual international creative writing competition for poetry and short stories. The Bridport Prize is the biggest open creative writing competition in the English language. It has been the first step in the careers of many established poets and novelists.

Anyone can enter but there's not long to go now, the closing date for entries is 30th June 2008.

TRAIL IS A SUCCESS E-mail
BRIDPORT Heritage Forum chairman Charles Wild this week paid tribute to all those who have helped make the Newbery Trail such a success.

Over the last month, visitors have poured through the doors of the town hall, the arts centre and other venues that were a part of the trail, held to celebrate the life and work of Fra Newbery, who became an inspirational director of the Glasgow School of Art.
