‘Music from the European Choral tradition’

A performance by St. Michael’s church choir of Mount Dinham, Exeter which features a 30 strong voice choir singing renaissance sacred music from a traditional Anglo-Catholic style of worship. The choir has a growing reputation locally and is directed by a series of very talented young musicians and has a wide repertoire including English and European Renaissance polyphony, Georgian plainchant, Anglican chant, and Baroque music.

The Dorset County Show takes place on the 6 – 7 September at Dorchester Show Ground. The Dorset County Show has come a long way since its humble beginnings back in 1841.  What started as a small get together in a field near Dorchester, has grown to become one of the biggest and most exciting family events in the UK.
