Dorset-based record label ‘Alien Frequencies’ is hosting a special night of live music and handmade films in Bridport on Friday 3rd September from 7pm until late at St Michaels Art & Vintage Quarter, Bridport, DT6 3RR. This will be the first time that all of the label’s acts have appeared on the same bill, and what better setting than amidst the vintage furniture, antiques and paraphernalia at St Michael's. Red Brick Café, Jalopy Pizza & Old Albion Bar will be open. |

A musical tour of Dorset that is called The Little Red Book Tour featuring songs from The New National Song Book (1905) – which is red and more or less little. Performed by Y'Strel's Band which is john bullock and Helen Coombs. All gigs threaten to be good fun and may include community singing. |

The Event 2 - Incorporating the Kings Head Family Funday. Saturday 10th July from 2pm to 11pm in the field opposite the King’s Head, Bradpole. Following the success of our fundraising 'EVENT' last year, we are holding another afternoon and evening of fun and entertainment for all the family, including a children’s fancy dress competition. Artists will include Simon Swarbrick & Will Ferris, Tom Toomey, Elijah Wolf, Orpheus, Mitch Norman and Aiden Simpson. There will be a licensed bar & a variety of food outlets. We are raising funds for Dorset Residential Homes, St Katherine’s Avenue, Bridport, Street Children in Calcutta and Bridport Burma Appeal. |
