Rachael Roberts and Alex Swift met whilst working at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Realising they had similar musical tastes they decided to collaborate and the album Quietude is the result. It’s a lush blend of electronica combined with the organic tones of strings and clarinet and a sweet vocal narrative.

Keston "Making a List" Bracey plays classic music by Bob Dylan, the Beautiful South and ’The Greats’ …Paul Weller, Cold Play, Crowded House, Sting and even some Oasis. Hello my follow Bridianites, tis the Drunkun Jedi here to tell you all about a band that are a little bit special (not in that way…) in a golden glimmer of a Dorset way. Dorset, the rolling hills, the slow way of life, the cherished people that live here, the real Dorset/Hampshire border (circa 1974) and a band called Who’s Afear’d!
Local boy Chris Good plays Bass and vocals in the band 'Device' who are fast becoming one of the true ’must see’ bands on the hotly-contested London scene.
Ways of the Mouth are a "hip hop" group based in Bridport formed in 2005 sometime, after doing a project with PVA studios. They consist of 3 MC's and 1 DJ.

Stompin' Dave Allen performs folk & blues music on guitar, five-string banjo, fiddle, harmonica, vocals & tap dancing. Since beginning to perform as Stompin' Dave Allen in April 2006 Dave has recorded two CDs Westwood Bound, and Like A Lotus Flower Growing In Muddy Waters, travelled across the USA, with impromptu performances in Chicago, New York, Charlottesville and New Orleans, performed at Weymouth folk festival and played pubs in Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire & Devon.
The gorgeous and groovy sounds of local girl Rachael Roberts. "Here I Am" is written and recorded by Rachael in her home studio. This track is previously un-released, but is a taste of what will feature on the debut solo album which will be released later this year. (on the french electronica label Anything Goze).
Boy Le Monti have played gigs in pubs and clubs in and around Bridport, so you may have been lucky enough to hear their excellent brand of vintage Ska and rock steady beats
Bridport born singer songwriter Kate Garrett returns home for some dates with her band around the South West. For this tour she will be with fellow band member, Barney M. Brown, whose anarchic approach to playing cello underpins the band’s unusual sound. The Kate Garrett Band will be touring with Loz Colbert (Ride, Animal House) completing the line-up on drums in the autumn.
