What I am unable to understand is that many people are climbing on to high horses and complaining that Bridport is in dire need of more parking spaces. Why? Half of the car park spaces are never used by locals because of the higher charges anyway, we're told. (Car parks which incidentally, are owned and run, and the charges set, by W.D.D.C., not Bridport Town Council as many don't seem to know.) Bungle and Zippy
There is a coffee morning on the first Saturday of each month ih Bothenhampton Church. The is a Fair Trade Stall as well as books and plants and veg. in season Although run by the Church it is to be a meeting place for the whole village and others who like Fair trade products.

Lynden and his cohorts have a website bridportspartans.co.uk where you can find out more and they have also set up a facebook group “Bridport Spartans”. Signing up forms are available in No10.
The Women's Institute skittles team is in need of some help. For some reason the whole team is playing badly this season and have already lost two games. Would anyone be willing to give them some coaching?

Those men in the shed have left the shed and ventured out on to the deep offshore paradise known as Lyme Bay, another great film from Shed Productions Dorset, watch out for terrific views of East Cliff and the New Harbour at West Bay, we asked Dennis why the quality was not as good as the first?
Dorset Men and Their Sheds, move over Tommy Walsh. Two local men are causing a real stir in the world of DIY with their first video on Utube entitled “How to build an oil drum BBQ”, although a little late in the season for grilled outdoor cuisine the project video has attracted attention from all parts of the globe including Alaska and Brazil in the South !! Mark Botwright and Dennis Spacey were commissioned to build two BBQ’s for a local bigwig and had the idea of filming the build for the greater good.
Thought it would be a good idea for Bridport Radio members to start passing on top tips about the tradesmen, businesses and other services that we like.
