Bad Manners at the Electric Palace at 8pm on Saturday 12th July '08. The fantastic 2Tone Ska revival band fronted by outlandish huge-tongued and shaven-headed Buster Bloodvessel. They were at their most popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, during a period when other ska revival bands, such as Madness and The Specials and The Selecter, filled the charts. Bad Manners spent 111 weeks in the British singles charts between 1980 and 1983. |

The 2008 Bridport Charter Fair will be officially opened by Mayor Martin Ray this Saturday 5th July at 10am. The Mayor will also be presenting the prestigious Charter Award, designed by local sculptor Karl Dixon. Over fifty nominations have been received, recognising the valuable voluntary work carried out in a wide range of local sports. |
