I want a Wheelie Bin. An ordinary dustbin is too heavy to carry down my garden path and now I've lost my lid in the wind. Black bin bags are horrid.

Obviously the Council should fund these, but should Hell not freeze over, Bartletts do a good deal on Wheelie Bins. I got mine from there. ...changed my life!

My daughter paid two months tax one month as she knew they would be short the next 'cos of weather.She was taken to court and charged £40!

Council Tax is equally as bad as the old rates system. Should have stayed with the Poll Tax. The same charge for all, not on the value of your home but an individual tax. One person living in a home, one Poll Tax, four people living in the same home, four Poll Taxes. The argument that wealthy people and lower income people were charged the same and this wasn't fair was wrong. Rich or poor we all individually have access to the same community services. M & S don't have a scale of different prices for the same pair of socks according to income. Very unfair on a single person now as they have to pay three quarters of the council tax, almost the same as when they had to pay the full rates if they were sole occupier. With Poll Tax they paid just that - one Poll Tax. And if Local Income Tax ever happens - one of the reasons I shall never vote Lib-Dem.
