Friends of Charmouth Library (FoCL) are holding an Auction of Promises at The George, Charmouth on 25 February at 7.30. They have a fantastic range of promises - including those from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall at River Cottage, Mark Hix from the Oyster & Fish House in Lyme, Ian Simpson at the White House in Charmouth, Forde Abbey, local traders and, of course, more modest promises from individuals for car valeting, dog-walking, art lessons and pet care.
Now we need the bidders who have an eye for a bargain to turn up in their droves at The George, Charmouth on 25 February at 7.30.
