Following its hugely successful production of The Storeroom back in 2009, international award- winning physical theatre company The Kosh are on the road again with a delicious new show titled ‘Café Chaos’.
Conceived and directed by Michael Merwitzer and Siân Williams, designed by Jenny Carey, choreographed by Siân Williams, with music by Alastair Gavin and a scenario by Roger Farrell, the multi-talented cast of Café Chaos conjure a night of physical and verbal extravagance. Comic confusion spills from the kitchen, waiters and diners collide, lovers meet, identities are traded, secrets uncovered, denial and betrayal tear friendships apart; dangerous comedy and a tragic night out are just some of the specials on the menu at Café Chaos.
Founded in 1982 by Micheal Merwitzer and Sian Williams, The Kosh have won numerous awards including Manchester Evening News Dance Theatre Award, New York Festivals Film Award and the Cairo Experimental Theatre Award. Creating innovative productions of the highest artistic standards, The Kosh aim to make the arts accessible to wide ranging audiences, and, through the arts, provide life enhancing experiences and educational opportunities.
