cows-nappiesFurther to the report that a holidaymaker David Copp who came across a fishing trawler moored in Ilfracombe Harbour, took great offence and complained: We can confirm reports that second home owners (Cuckoos) in West Milton have complained that cows have been defecating in nearby fields, Mrs Deidre Towniscombe said

"It is disgusting there is cows mess all over the fields, I even got some on my Hunter wellies."

when asked what he intended to do about the complaint the owner of the cows Mr G Itorfmylaan who cannot be named for legal reasons said

"Due to the current economic climate we cannot consider buying nappies for the whole herd unless the Policy Of Orifice Holders (P.O.O.H.) mandate is approved by the EEC"

When met with this Mrs Towniscombe replied

"I mean why do these backwoods yokels even keep cows any more when you can simply buy milk from Waitrose?"

A member of the Local Tourist Association who is responsible for liaising with incomers on matters like these said

"I have no comment"

When asked if we could quote him on this he said

"No"

So there you have it, another poop scoop by our raving reporter SHibby

...Next week: birds singing, bells ringing ...Is it time to get tough on noise pollution?
